SYNOPSIS
Playing like children, as all we who could enjoy our childhood have some
time played; that is the way this show comes up. A little show which claims
imagination as the major element for enjoying and learning. Imagination: something we all supposedly have and insist on not using. With simple
elements and some folk tales from different cultures and origins, we make up
a show which combines surprise, humour and participation. A fantastic attic
full of objects touched by the magic of theatre.
ABOUT THE SHOW
There are people who throw stories away, who forget that tales exist, who
don't know that stories and tales let us grow up, know, learn, tolerate,
respect and travel. There are people who throw all this in the dustbin.
There are also people who search, scavenge, recycle and salvage. There still
exist CHATACUENTARREROS (SCRAP MERCHANT-TELLERS). If you give them an old
mill, you will learn why the sea is salty; if it is an old suitcase, you
will discover the noisiest of the sounds; with an old bike, they will build
themselves a ship; with an umbrella, a plane. And if you give them time,
just a little bit of your time, you will find that YOU can as well be one of
them.
You will be able to SCRAP-MERCHANT-TELL.
