Mr Nicomedes García, notable unofficial chronicler of the distinguished city of Valladolid, is about to start an “academic” guided route through the city’s most important landmarks and buildings which are closely related to Christopher Columbus and the discovery of America, when he is interrupted by the sudden appearance of two weird and eccentric people who move on a strange egg-shaped machine and who, to Mr Nicomedes’ surprise, introduce themselves as the inventors of the greatest prodigy of the history of science: THE TIME MACHINE. They assure this machine acts as a prism through which you can watch past times and the historical figures who took part in them, and they also claim that they have chosen this historical route as the testing ground for the efficacy of their invention. A highly excited Mr Nicomedes asks them to put it into practice immediately, thus starting a cavalcade of pages and famous figures from our history who will liven up our peculiar Columbian route..
